Businessman Üzeyir Tekçe, a member of the Ezdinan tribe, united his life with Hasret Bilici from the Pinyanişi tribe in Van. Approximately 7,000 people attended the couple's outdoor wedding in Van, including tribal leaders, opinion leaders, NGO presidents, businessmen, and relatives of the bride and groom. For the wedding, 200 sheep were slaughtered, and guests were served roasted meat, rice pilaf, and yogurt sauce. THE GIFT CEREMONY LASTED 5 HOURSDuring the wedding, which lasted 5 hours, the groom received 10 million TL, and the bride received approximately 4 kilograms of gold. About 25 people counted the money given, and it was observed that the bride, Hasret Bilici, had difficulty carrying the jewelry on her. Guests danced the halay with the bride and groom and celebrated for hours to the Kurdish songs being sung.
