As the number of fatalities in Israel's attack on Lebanon rises to 100, there are over 400 injured. It has been reported that among the dead and injured, there are many women, children, and healthcare workers. Due to the attacks, civilians living in residential areas, especially in the southern part of Lebanon near the border, have been forced to flee towards the north of the country.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been relentlessly bombing Gaza, killing tens of thousands of Palestinians, and is determined to expand the war to the region.

The Israeli army, which had targeted Hezbollah members in Lebanon with cyber attacks, had also killed dozens of people in a recent airstrike.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that in today's attacks by Israel on Lebanon, at least 50 people have lost their lives and 300 have been injured, according to initial assessments.

A report from the Lebanese official agency NNA included information shared by the Ministry of Health regarding the attacks carried out by Israel in Lebanon. According to the Ministry of Health, in the attacks targeting towns and villages in southern Lebanon today, at least 50 people have died and more than 300 have been injured. Among the dead and injured are women, children, and healthcare workers.

THEY HIT MORE THAN 300 TARGETS TODAY

The Israeli army intensified airstrikes on southern and eastern Lebanon starting this morning. In a statement from the army, it was noted that more than 300 "targets" in southern and eastern Lebanon have been hit in the airstrikes conducted since the morning hours. In addition to the attacks, the Israeli army called on civilians in southern Lebanon to evacuate homes and buildings that it claims belong to Hezbollah and to stay away from them.

CIVILIANS ARE FLEEING TOWARDS THE NORTH

Due to two separate airstrikes that began in the morning, smoke rose from many areas in southern and eastern Lebanon. As a result of the attacks, especially civilians living in settlements near the border in southern Lebanon were forced to flee towards the north of the country.

VEHICLE TRAFFIC ON THE ROADS IS STRIKING

After the Lebanese people, who had to leave their homes, departed the region by car, heavy traffic formed on the roads leading north. Images shared on social media highlight the vehicle traffic on the roads leading to the capital, Beirut.
