The incident occurred around 17:00 in Aksaray Mahallesi. According to the information obtained, M.B., who approached the traffic police officer on duty in the area under the pretext of asking a question, suddenly attacked with a knife. The police officer, who retreated at the last moment, shot the suspect in the leg after he did not comply with the 'stop' warning. The suspect, who continued to flee despite being injured, was caught after a chase.
Upon the report, health teams were dispatched to the scene. During a search of M.B., who was learned to be a foreign national, a quantity of drugs was seized. M.B., who received first aid at the scene, was taken to the hospital by ambulance. It was learned that the suspect, who was taken under treatment, had no life-threatening condition.
