Attack on the AK Party building in Beylikdüzü with a paving stone.

At around 03:00, an unidentified person or persons attacked the AK Party Beylikdüzü District Headquarters located on Cumhuriyet Street in the Beylikdüzü district of Istanbul with a paving stone. The moment of the attack, during which the windows of the party building were broken, was captured by security cameras second by second. The police have initiated efforts to capture the fleeing assailants.

KABAKTEPE: I CONDEMN THE ATTACK IN THE STRONGEST TERMS

Following the incident, AK Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Osman Nuri Kabaktepe condemned the attack in a statement on social media. Kabaktepe stated, "I strongly condemn the heinous attack carried out against our AK Party Beylikdüzü District Headquarters last night, and I want to clearly express that we will follow this matter legally against those who planned and supported this treacherous act."

ÇOLAK: WE WILL CONTINUE OUR STRUGGLE WITH DETERMINATION

AK Party Beylikdüzü District Chairman Ömer Çolak also stated regarding the attack, "We clearly express to those who carried out this despicable attack and the supporting factions that we will continue our struggle with determination and resolve for our country and Beylikdüzü."
