THE ARGUMENT ESCALATED QUICKLY
The incident occurred on Ulubatlı Hasan Street in the Eyüpsultan neighborhood. According to claims, the argument between the drivers of two vehicles involved in a traffic accident quickly escalated.
During this time, one of the parties, Ramazan K. (30), physically assaulted the female driver, Sibel K. (32).
FOOTAGE WAS CONSIDERED A REPORT, SUSPECT DETAINED
After the moments of the assault were shared on social media, police teams considered the footage as a report and launched an investigation.
As a result of the examination, Ramazan K., identified as the perpetrator of the assault, was taken into custody.
HE RECEIVED A FINE OF 180 THOUSAND LIRA AND HIS LICENSE WAS CONFISCATED
Police teams imposed an administrative fine of 180 thousand lira on the suspect driver for "persistently following another vehicle with the intent of assault in traffic or getting out of the vehicle for this purpose."
Additionally, the suspect's driver's license was confiscated for 60 days, and his vehicle was also banned from traffic for the same period.
Meanwhile, it was learned that Ramazan K. would be referred to the courthouse on charges of "intentional injury."
