Czech Petra Kvitova beat American Danielle Collins to secure the first finalist berth at the Australian Open 2019.
The 8th-seeded Kvitova won 7-6 (7-2), 6-0 and she will face Japan's Naomi Osaka or Czech Karolina Pliskova.
If Pliskova reaches the final, it would be an all-Czech final for the first time in a women's singles at a Grand Slam.
If Kvitova claims the title, she will replace Romania's Simona Halep as the world number one. -
