Automotive giant Tofaş is pausing production.

Turkish automotive giant Tofaş will temporarily halt production at its Bursa factory from July 16th to August 20th, 2024, due to scheduled maintenance and repair work as well as the current state of export markets.

Tofaş, Turkey's automotive giant, announced through a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that production will be temporarily suspended at its Bursa factory between July 16 and August 20.

STATEMENT TO KAP

In the statement made by the company to the Public Disclosure Platform, it was stated that "Due to planned maintenance and repair works on the production lines and the situation in export markets, production will be temporarily suspended at our Bursa factory between 16.07.2024 - 20.08.2024."

"MAINTENANCE WORK WILL BE CARRIED OUT BY STANDBY PERSONNEL AT THE FACTORY"

During this period, our employees will use their planned annual leave entitlements, and only maintenance and revision works will be carried out at our factory by standby personnel," the statement said.
