While reactions are pouring in against the current president Ali Koç of Fenerbahçe, who lost the Galatasaray derby, voices for former president Aziz Yıldırım are rising again. In response, Aziz Yıldırım broke his silence and published a statement denying the news attributed to him.

"EXPRESSIONS THAT CANNOT POSSIBLY COME OUT OF MY MOUTH"

In a statement made from his social media account, Yıldırım said, "There are false statements in some social media platforms that have not come out of my mouth and cannot possibly come out. I was born a Fenerbahçe fan, and I will be a Fenerbahçe fan until I die, in good times and bad. This negative situation will certainly change, and we will meet in beautiful days. Although we are sad today, our wish is for Fenerbahçe to recover as soon as possible."

Aziz Yıldırım also made a call to the yellow-navy blue fans, saying, "I ask our supporters not to pay attention to false statements spread using my name for the sake of gaining interaction."
