Trabzonspor player Chibuike Nwaiwu, who received a red card in the 90+6th minute in the Ferencvaros match, has been given a 2-match ban by UEFA.

Trabzonspor, continuing its journey in the UEFA Europa League, was shaken by a suspension handed to defender Chidozie Nwaiwu. The UEFA Disciplinary Committee announced its decisions for the Nigerian center-back.

BANNED FOR 2 MATCHES

According to the official statement from UEFA; Chidozie Nwaiwu was given a 2-match ban due to the red card he received in the last European cup match. In line with the decision, the experienced defender will not be able to play in the next two critical matches that the burgundy-blue team will play on the European stage.

TECHNICAL STAFF'S PLANS DISRUPTED

The absence of Nwaiwu, one of the important names in the defense line, made the rotation plans of the head coach and his team difficult. Trabzonspor's management and technical staff will have to turn to alternative names in the center-back position due to the suspension.
