Bahçeli supports Erdoğan's candidacy: A constitutional amendment should be made.

The Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Devlet Bahçeli, made striking statements regarding the agenda at his party's group meeting.

Bahçeli reacted to those who commented that his call for terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan was a scenario aimed at winning a new election victory, saying; "If there are those with question marks in their minds; if terrorism is eliminated from our lives, if a decisive blow is dealt to the inflation monster, if Turkey reaches the peak of political and economic stability, isn't it a natural and correct choice for our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to be elected once again?"
