SCORING HIS FIRST GOAL IN EUROPE

In the 3rd week of the UEFA Europa League, Barış Alper, who played in his 24th European cup match for Galatasaray, scored the team's 3rd goal in the 44th minute of the match against Swedish representative Elfsborg, which ended in a 4-3 victory. The 24-year-old footballer thus experienced his first goal celebration in this competition with the yellow-red jersey. This goal also marked the first European goal of the star player's career.

Having transferred to Galatasaray in July 2021, Barış Alper Yılmaz is in his fourth season with the club. Until the Elfsborg match, he played in 122 official matches and scored 15 goals. The 24-year-old footballer scored 14 of these goals in the Süper Lig and 1 in the Turkish Cup match.
