A suspect who allegedly harassed a 22-year-old girl in Istanbul Esenler was beaten up by the locals. The suspect was taken into custody by the police and referred to the judicial authorities.

The incident took place in a park in Namık Kemal neighborhood in Esenler on July 25th around 20:40. According to the allegations, the suspect named M.N.T. (26) followed G.C., who is 22 years old, for a while.

The suspect, who continued his persistent pursuit, then approached the young girl, and the locals intervened in the incident upon hearing the harassment claims. The suspect was beaten up by the citizens.

During the brawl, police teams were dispatched to the scene upon receiving a report. The suspect was taken into custody by the police. It was reported that after the completion of the procedures at the police station, the suspect was referred to the judicial authorities.
