3RD VIOLATION IN 9 DAYS
Officials emphasized that the third airspace violation occurred within the last 9 days. The Moldovan Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that 2 Russian drones returned to the Ukrainian region shortly after being detected.
MOLDOVA AIRSPACE CLOSED
It was stated that security measures were taken due to the incident, and it was expressed that "this violation, which poses a significant risk to flight safety, resulted in the closure of Moldova's airspace for 1 hour and 10 minutes."
Moldovan President Maia Sandu commented on the development, saying, "While Russian drones are going to massacre civilians, they have once again violated Moldova's airspace, causing it to be temporarily closed. We condemn these attacks and stand with Ukraine."
