In his upcoming book about his political life, former British Prime Minister Johnson shared a striking piece of information regarding Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. In the book, Johnson revealed that he used Netanyahu's personal bathroom, and that the security team later found listening devices there.

The former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, will share information in his upcoming memoir that will spark much discussion regarding Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

INTERESTING DETAILS ABOUT NETANYAHU'S VISIT

Former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is set to publish a memoir about his political life. In the memoir, which has started to be published in sections by the British press, Johnson shared interesting details about Netanyahu's visit to the UK in 2017.

"BIBI STAYED FOR A WHILE, THEN A LISTENING DEVICE WAS FOUND"

Johnson, who served as Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018, revealed that Netanyahu used the personal bathroom at the UK Foreign Office during his visit, and that the security team later found a listening device there. Johnson noted that Netanyahu, whom he referred to by the nickname "Bibi" during their discussions, requested permission to use the restroom. He described the personal bathroom at the Foreign Office as a place located within a secret annex that resembled the men's restroom of luxury clubs in London. In his book titled "Unleashed," Johnson wrote, "Bibi stayed there for a while, and this may or may not be a coincidence, but according to what I was told, a listening device was found in the restroom during a subsequent regular bug sweep."

ISRAEL HAD ALSO PLACED A LISTENING DEVICE IN THE WHITE HOUSE AT THE SAME TIME

In response to the press's request for more details about the meeting with Netanyahu, Johnson replied, "You can find everything you want to know in the relevant section of the book." There is no information on whether Israel was contacted regarding the incident or if any condemnation was made afterward. On the other hand, it is known that Israel was accused of placing a listening device in the White House during the same period.

Johnson's memoir is expected to hit the shelves in the UK on October 10, 2023.
