While the whole of Turkey awaits good news from Narin, the discovery of new DNA traces belonging to Narin in the car of her uncle, who was arrested on charges of "intentional homicide," has further diminished hopes.

NEW DNA TRACES FOUND IN THE CAR

Ferit Demir, a journalist who has been following the events in the region since the beginning of the process, claimed that new DNA traces belonging to Narin were found in the front seat of the car, which was dismantled and taken to the gendarmerie forensic laboratory for a second criminal search. Demir stated that the discovered DNA samples matched the samples taken from Narin's clothes.

STATEMENT THAT EXPOSED THE UNCLE

Salim Güran, Narin Güran's uncle, was arrested on charges of "deprivation of liberty" and "intentional homicide" as part of the investigation. M.Ç.Ç., who works at a gas station, went to the gendarmerie and gave a statement after Narin went missing. It is claimed that M.Ç.Ç.'s statement led to the arrest of the uncle.

In his statement, M.Ç.Ç. said, "Narin was lying on the front seat of village headman Salim Güran's car, either unconscious or suffocated, with a dark brown blanket on top of her."

According to the gendarmerie report, it was determined through camera footage that Narin had met with her 9-year-old friend at 18:47. Only her friend is visible in the footage, while Narin is out of the frame. This situation was determined in the statement of the little girl, who was accompanied by a psychologist and a pedagogue. The family and relatives stated that they did not see Narin in any way between 15:15 and 19:30 (the time when Narin's family started searching for her).

According to a report in Sabah newspaper, it was determined that Uncle Salim Güran left the area where their house is located at 18:59 (there is camera footage) in his own car. In this case, a professional private team from Ankara and gendarmerie teams are investigating what happened in the 12 minutes between the last sighting of Narin with her friend at 18:47 and the uncle leaving the village at 18:59.
