The Galatasaray and Beşiktaş teams will face each other in the Turkcell Super Cup, organized for the 18th time by the Turkish Football Federation. The competition, which has been organized by the TFF since 2006 and played in the format of the former Presidential Cup, will be played between last season's Super Lig champion Galatasaray and the winner of the Ziraat Turkey Cup, Beşiktaş. The Super Cup match will take place at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul. The match will start at 20:45 and will be broadcast live on ATV.

REFEREE ATİLLA KARAOĞLAN

Referee Atilla Karaoğlan will blow the whistle in the big derby between Galatasaray and Beşiktaş. Abdullah Bora Özkara and Volkan Ahmet Narinç will assist Karaoğlan. Mustafa İlker Coşkun will be the VAR referee, and Ceyhun Sesigüzel and Onur Özütoprak will serve as AVAR.

The last Turkcell Super Cup match between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe lasted for one minute. The Super Cup match, which was supposed to be played in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, on December 30, 2023, between the two teams, could not be played due to the crisis. The TFF decided to play the match in Şanlıurfa on April 7. Fenerbahçe Club played the match with the Under-19 Team as their demands were not accepted before the match. Galatasaray took a 1-0 lead in the first minute of the match with Mauro Icardi's goal. Fenerbahçe withdrew from the field by the decision of the management. The TFF Board of Directors awarded the cup to the yellow-red team, declaring them the winner with a 3-0 score.
