Brutality in Denizli: 10 shot goats have died.

The incident occurred in the Çakıroluk-Naldöken area of Tavas district in Denizli. According to the information obtained; an armed attack was carried out by unidentified person or persons on the goat herd belonging to Halil Kocabıyık, which was staying in the rural area, late at night. In the attack carried out with a rifle, 10 goats that were hit by bullets died. The shepherd, who went to pasture the herd in the morning, experienced great sadness when he saw the dead and injured goats in different areas.

THE SHEPHERD'S EFFORTS TO SAVE THE INJURED GOATS WERE NOT ENOUGH

The shepherd, who made great efforts to save 2 injured goats, carried the animals weighing dozens of kilograms on his shoulder for kilometers to get them to the veterinarian. The bleating sounds of the small livestock, which let out their last breaths, broke hearts, and despite all the owner's efforts, they could not be saved. "They have hurt us, it was literally a massacre," said herd owner Halil Kocabıyık, expressing his sorrow with the following words: "When I went to herd the goats in the Çakıroluk area of Naldöken early yesterday morning, I was shocked to see dead and injured goats at certain intervals along the road. The cries and moans of the injured goats do not leave my ears. We brought the injured goats on our backs. We could not find many of our goats that ran away in fear during the attack. This is not humanity; what did you want from these voiceless, innocent animals? They were our children, our lives. So far, 10 of our goats have died."
