A tourist bus traveling from Sao Paulo, Brazil to Aparecida de Goiania overturned on the highway. In the accident, 10 people lost their lives while 42 people were injured. Numerous fire trucks were dispatched to the scene.

Ten people died and 42 people were injured as a result of a bus carrying tourists overturning in Brazil.

TEN TOURISTS LOST THEIR LIVES IN THE ACCIDENT

According to the news in the Brazilian press, the tourist bus traveling from Sao Paulo to Aparecida de Goiania overturned on the Francisco da Silva Pontes highway. In the accident, ten people lost their lives at the scene, and 42 people were injured, five of them seriously.

THEY WERE GOING TO VISIT THE BASILICA

Many fire trucks were sent to the scene of the accident to rescue the injured people trapped in the wreckage. Officials reported that the tourists were on their way to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Aparecida, which is considered sacred for Catholics.
