Businesses in Turkey that are unable to find welders have turned their focus to India.

While many businesses in Turkey have been struggling to find specialized personnel in certain professions in recent years, they are finding the solution by importing skilled workers from foreign countries.

"300 WELDERS WERE BROUGHT FROM INDIA"

Officials state that finding welders in Turkey has become difficult, noting that 300 welders were brought from India during the construction of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, which was built on March 18, 2022.

"IT STEMS FROM OUR FAILURE TO FILL THE FIELD"

Economy writer Vahap Munyar stated in a program he attended, "There are still businesses that bring in personnel from India for some special jobs, special welding jobs. This completely stems from our failure to fill that field."

Munyar continued his remarks as follows; "Naturally, every person wants to work in a better job, earning better money. They may not want to do heavier jobs."
