A car-bomb explosion targeted a U.S. military convoy in Syria's northwestern Al-Hasakah province on Monday, according to local sources.
The blast struck as the convoy was passing in the area near a checkpoint operated by the YPG/PKK terrorist group, the sources said.
One U.S. soldier was injured while five YPG/PKK terrorist were killed in the attack.
There was no claim of responsibility for the attack.
On Wednesday, four Americans, including two soldiers, were killed in an apparent suicide attack claimed by Daesh in the northern city of Manbij. -
