Country’s foreign trade increases by around 5% year on year in Q1.

China's foreign trade volume exceeded 10 trillion yuan (1.38 trillion) for the first time in the first quarter of 2024, official data showed on Friday.

During the January-March period, China's foreign trade volume in goods amounted to 10.17 trillion yuan (around $1.4 trillion), the state-run news outlet Xinhua reported.

The country's exports rose by 4.9% to 5.74 trillion yuan ($793.1 billion).


China's imports also increased by 5% to 4.43 trillion yuan . -
