Yımaran Y., who was arrested, defended himself by saying, "My brother-in-law had forced me to attend a Quran course in Turkey. Because of this, my mother had received a punishment in China and was serving a prison sentence. That's why I did it."

In Zeytinburnu, 36-year-old Chinese national Hasan Nur, who came from abroad, was robbed and killed. The police quickly caught the suspects by using the tattoo on the arm of a suspect seen in the security cameras. 18-year-old Yımaran Y., who was detained on suspicion of killing his uncle, gave a surprising statement, while 8,300 dollars were found on the suspects that they had stolen.

In the incident that took place in Zeytinburnu Sümer Neighborhood on June 21, 2024, Hasan Nur, a Chinese national who came from abroad, went to the house of his wife's nephew, 18-year-old Yımaran Y. As soon as he entered the house, Hasan Nur was attacked by 3 people and beaten to death.

The suspects took the money on Hasan Nur and left the house. The police reached the security cameras that recorded the suspects in the investigation they initiated about the incident. In the footage, it was seen that the 3 suspects met at the entrance door of the apartment and went up to the floor where Hasan Nur was, and then covered their faces and escaped. When the police examined these images, they focused on the tattoo detail on one of the suspects' arms. Other security cameras on the escape route of the suspects were also examined. As a result of the follow-up, the identities of the individuals were determined.

It was determined that one of the suspects was the nephew of Hasan Nur, who was beaten to death. The police detained the suspect Yımaran Y. Yımaran Y. confessed to the incident and said that there was a long-standing animosity between him and his brother-in-law. Yımaran Y. stated that his brother-in-law forced him to go to a Quran course and when this was heard, his mother was detained and imprisoned in China. He claimed that he committed the incident to take revenge for this.

THEY COMMITTED THE MURDER FOR MONEY

The police detained Bilalijiang A. (17), Abdusalam K. (17), Murat K. (25), Ömer U. (19), and Arafat A. (24), who were determined to be involved in the incident, in an operation in Kağıthane. 8,300 dollars were found on the suspects. The interrogation of the suspects, who were found to have a record of many crimes before, was conducted at the Homicide Bureau. The suspects stated that Yımaran Y. had told them that there was a large amount of money on his brother-in-law and they committed the incident to take this money. It was learned that the money found on the attackers was a part of the money they took from the murdered Hasan Nur.

6 SUSPECTS SENT TO PRISON

The suspects, whose procedures were completed at the Homicide Bureau of the Public Security Branch Directorate, were referred to the courthouse. 6 suspects were arrested and sent to prison.
