A Chinese national, Guangyin Yuan, working at a cement factory in Bilecik, lost his balance while cutting concrete blocks and fell into a boiler from a height of approximately 3.5 meters. The 49-year-old worker was taken to the hospital in critical condition but died despite all medical interventions.
A Chinese worker lost their life in a workplace accident at a cement factory in Bilecik.
The incident occurred at a cement factory operating in the Taşçılar village. Guangyın Yuan, 49, who was working as a laborer at the factory, lost their balance while cutting concrete blocks in the area where the boilers were located.
FELL INTO THE BOILER
The worker, who fell into the boiler from a height of approximately 3.5 meters, was injured. Upon notice by colleagues who noticed the incident, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the region.
Guangyın Yuan, rescued from the location by the teams, was taken to Bilecik Training and Research Hospital by ambulance.
DIED AT THE HOSPITAL
The worker, who was placed under treatment, could not be saved despite all interventions by the doctors. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
