CHP Antalya Provincial Vice President Anıl Akbulut has been arrested.

Deputy Chairman of the Republican People's Party (CHP) Antalya, Anıl Akbulut, and Gürcan M., who previously served as deputy chairman, were detained by the Antalya Police Department's Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Branch teams as part of an investigation.

ARRESTED AND SENT TO PRISON

Anıl A. and Gürcan M. were brought to the courthouse yesterday after their procedures at the police station. Following the prosecutor's statement, Akbulut and Gürcan M. were arrested by the court and sent to prison.

EXPULSION IS A MATTER OF TIME

On the other hand, CHP Antalya Provincial Chairman Nail Kamacı announced through his social media account that board member Akbulut has been arrested and referred to the high disciplinary board with a request for expulsion. In his post, Kamacı stated, "Board member Anıl A. has been arrested due to an ongoing investigation. Anıl A. has been provisionally referred to our party's High Disciplinary Board with a request for expulsion. The ongoing investigation and trial process will be monitored."
