CHP deputy opened a 20-meter long list in the Parliament! All of them are captured gang leaders in Turkey.

The discussions on the Draft Law on Amendments to the Capital Markets Law continue in the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly. CHP Karabük Deputy Cevdet Akay opened the 20.5-meter list of international criminal organization leaders who are wanted with a red notice and have been captured in Turkey.

"WE HOPE TO BE REMOVED FROM THE GREY LIST ON JUNE 28"

In his speech, Cevdet Akay said the following; "Again, when we look at it in general, the approval of the proposal regarding the cryptocurrency markets is also important in terms of the grey list. As you know, we have been included in the grey list by the Financial Action Task Force. It was stated that one of the remaining 40 criteria for us to be removed from this grey list is the regulation regarding the cryptocurrency markets. After this regulation, we hope to be removed from the grey list in the meeting on June 28. For this, necessary studies need to be carried out meticulously.

"DRUG BARONS ARE RUNNING RAMPANT IN OUR COUNTRY"

I previously shared a list from this podium in December. It was a list related to international criminal organizations, wanted with a red notice, drug barons, and gangs. When I shared that list, it was 4.5 meters long, and now, in the time that has passed, this list is approximately 20 meters long as you can see here, and I don't want it to be torn. These criminal organizations, drug barons have been captured, and we thank them. Of course, it is important to take various sanctions against the captured individuals. It is important to carry out legal proceedings and punish them, and it is also important to determine their connections within the country.

"WHAT IS THE FOOTPRINT OF THESE CRIMINAL ORGANIZATIONS IN TURKEY?"

Furthermore, there are not only individuals captured within the country, but also international organizations, and the names of some of the captured individuals are not disclosed. 42 people are captured, but their identities are not revealed, it is announced collectively. After we announced this list, collective statements started to come. I state this, there are also MASAK officials here. What is the footprint of these criminal organizations in Turkey, what are the account transactions of the individuals here? We will follow up on these matters related to money laundering and the cryptocurrency markets."
