As the crisis triggered by the absolute nullity decision in the CHP escalates, the scuffle and rising tension outside the CHP headquarters in the morning hours persisted throughout the day. It was learned that Özgür Özel was present at the headquarters with numerous deputies, while CHP Istanbul Provincial Head Özgür Çelik also arrived in Ankara and entered the building. As Çelik walked in, a storm of applause broke out, and his words "I am heading to our chairman" drew attention.

As the crisis following the “absolute nullity” ruling against the CHP deepens, tensions continue in front of the CHP headquarters. After former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu regained the authority of the chairman, the conflict between the party administration and the Kılıçdaroğlu faction escalated, with notable developments occurring in Ankara.

POLICE AND TOMA MEASURES IN FRONT OF THE HEADQUARTERS

It was learned that the Ankara Governor's Office, at the request of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, took extensive security measures around the CHP headquarters in the morning hours. A large number of riot police units and TOMA vehicles were deployed in front of the headquarters, and police activity around the building drew attention.

In the morning hours, after figures close to Kılıçdaroğlu and some deputies arrived at the headquarters, a scuffle occurred, and tensions rose at the building entrances.

ÖZGÜR ÖZEL AND DEPUTIES AT THE HEADQUARTERS

It was learned that CHP Chairman Özgür Özel was also at the CHP headquarters along with a large number of deputies. While the Özel camp evaluates the ongoing process as a “political operation” and an “attempt to seize power by force,” it is stated that the option of a party congress to resolve the crisis is on the table.

NOTEWORTHY MOVE BY ÖZGÜR ÇELİK

CHP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik also came to Ankara and entered the CHP headquarters. Çelik's arrival at the headquarters was interpreted as a gesture of support for the party administration, and he was greeted with a storm of applause upon entering the building.

Speaking to the press, Çelik said, “We have a provincial chairmen’s meeting; I am going to our chairman.” It was learned that the crowd around the headquarters was gradually increasing, while police teams continued security measures in the area.

TENSIONS ESCALATE IN THE CHP

The process that began in the CHP after the absolute nullity ruling has grown even larger with the scuffle in front of the headquarters, debates over evacuation, police activity, and mutual harsh statements.

While the Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu faction demands the implementation of the court decision, Özgür Özel and the current administration continue to wait at the headquarters. Eyes in party circles are turned to new developments expected in Ankara.
