The Park Group has transferred all its shares in Ciner Media Holding, which includes channels such as Habertürk and Show TV, to the Can Group. The Can Group also includes schools such as Bilgi University and Doğa Colleges.

The Ciner Media Group, which includes Habertürk, Show TV, and Bloomberg HT, has changed hands. The new owners are the Can Group.

CAN GROUP HAS PURCHASED ALL SHARES

The announcement was made on Habertürk's website. It was stated that a contract has been signed for the transfer of all shares of Ciner Media Group from Park Group to Can Group, which also includes institutions such as Bilgi University and Doğa Colleges.

THEY HAVE WITHDRAWN FROM THE MEDIA SECTOR

In a statement from Park Group, the following was expressed: "Park Group has decided to terminate its media investments in line with its focus on achieving global leadership in the mining industry as its main sector."

In this context, a contract has been signed for the transfer of all shares of Ciner Media Group to Can Group, which also includes important educational/cultural institutions in our country such as Bilgi University and Doğa Colleges. The transfer will come into effect after the approval of the Competition Authority. We respectfully announce to the public that we believe this transfer will bring a new breath and strength to the media and our media employees."
