In her statement, Yaz Yıldırım stated that this unfortunate incident reflected in the public has nothing to do with them. Emphasizing that the incident did not occur at their residence, Yıldırım said, "The incident that is the subject of today's news has no connection with me whatsoever, and the mentioned event did not take place at our home. I felt the need to make this statement because some media outlets created the perception that the incident happened at our home."

According to shared information; hairdresser Derya Gündoğdu, who went to a house in Kandilli neighborhood of Üsküdar to provide manicure and pedicure services, suddenly felt ill and collapsed while climbing the stairs. The security camera footage also captured the moments when the woman fell ill and collapsed, and despite all interventions by the health teams called to the scene, Gündoğdu could not be saved. Security forces have launched a comprehensive investigation to determine the exact cause of the woman's death.
