Justice Minister Akın Gürlek gave very clear messages in his statement following the operation centered in Adana and carried out in 8 provinces, which dealt a heavy blow to the "Bayğaralar" criminal organization. Announcing that 287 suspects, who were found to be involved in numerous crimes including 2 murders, were captured, Gürlek emphasized that the fight against criminal organizations will continue with determination. Gürlek said, "The intercity and international connections of this structure targeting public peace have been uncovered, and a heavy blow has been dealt to the organization's structure."
It was reported that the suspects were involved in serious crimes such as intentional homicide, injury, aggravated robbery, kidnapping, and possession of unlicensed weapons.

Following the operation, Justice Minister Gürlek stated in a declaration from his social media account that the criminal organization's intercity and international connections had been uncovered, and a heavy blow was dealt to its structure. Gürlek said, "The intercity and international connections of this structure, which targets public peace with serious crimes such as intentional homicide, injury, aggravated robbery, kidnapping, and possession of weapons, have been exposed, and a heavy blow has been dealt to the organization's structure."
CRIMES COMMITTED THROUGH CHILDREN
While drawing attention to the danger posed by the organization, Minister Gürlek also emphasized that some crimes were committed through children, stating, "The fact that some crimes, in particular, were committed through children who were drawn into crime, has once again demonstrated how dangerous and exploitation-focused this organization is."
"OUR STRUGGLE WILL CONTINUE UNINTERRUPTED"
Justice Minister Akın Gürlek stated that the state will resolutely combat criminal organizations, delivering the following message: "Our state will never permit criminal organizations' attempts to restructure; we will continue our struggle uninterrupted until these structures are completely dismantled."
