Former Kayserispor footballer German Onugkha made statements about his days living in the city. The Russian striker, criticizing the living conditions in Kayseri, said, 'There is nothing in Kayseri. The food quality is bad, the restaurants are terrible. I didn't like the situation there at all. When they realize you are a footballer, they scam you 5 times more! There are no normal taxis; everyone tries to scam you.'
German Onugkha, who was in the team during the period Kayserispor competed in the Super Lig and then left the yellow-red club to transfer to Russia's Rodina team, made striking statements about the city.
''THERE IS NOTHING IN KAYSERI''
The Russian striker, criticizing the living conditions in Kayseri, said, "There is nothing in Kayseri. The food quality is bad, the restaurants are terrible. I didn't like the situation there at all."
''EVERYONE IS TRYING TO SCAM YOU''
Continuing his words, the striker recounted the bad memories he experienced in the city, saying, "When they realize you are a footballer, they scam you 5 times more. There are no normal taxis; everyone is trying to scam you. I cannot speak for all of Turkey, but if we are talking especially about Kayseri, the situation is terrible. That is even a mild statement."
''WHY IS HE LYING?''
Onugkha, who stated that even his driver tried to deceive him, said, "Or another example: I used to have a driver who worked with footballers. I knew how much he earned, 1300 euros a month. In the interview, I asked how much he earned and he said 1600. Why is he lying? This is a scam and it is everywhere."
