Following the arrest of Hüseyin Buğra Dege, the Chief of the Araman Forest Management in the Kandıra district of Kocaeli, who was caught red-handed and detained under an investigation initiated on the allegation of receiving money in exchange for services from a contractor engaged in logging in the region, the investigation has been deepened.
DAWN RAID AFTER A 1-MONTH FOLLOW-UP
Coordinated by the Kandıra Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, simultaneous operations were carried out at the suspects' addresses this morning by teams from the Kocaeli Provincial Gendarmerie Command after approximately 1 month of technical and physical surveillance.
NUMEROUS PEOPLE DETAINED
During the dawn raids, many suspects were detained on charges of corruption, bribery, and causing public harm, while a search was also conducted at the Kandıra Forest Management.
