WHAT HAPPENED?On November 11, Emre Işık, who was driving on Şehit Osman Tatar Street, had fired multiple times at the vehicle used by his cousin Hakan Işık due to a feud over a debt issue. Emre Işık had run away from the scene. Hakan Işık, who was severely injured, managed to drive to the hospital, but despite all the efforts of the doctors, he could not be saved. After the incident, the suspect Emre Işık was captured in a house where he was hiding in the Ceyhan district. Police teams also detained his father Erdal, his brother Erdi, and his cousin Nejat Işık, who were alleged to be connected to the incident. The detained suspects were arrested by the judicial authorities and sent to prison.
