Saudi Arabia announced that starting from Wednesday, foreign individuals without a work permit or Hajj visa, or without a residency ID issued from Mecca, will be prohibited from entering Mecca.

According to news reports in Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Interior has taken a series of measures to ensure the safety of pilgrims during the Hajj season.

In a post made by the Al-Ikhbariyya channel broadcasting in Saudi Arabia on X, it was stated that "Starting from Wednesday, a work permit, identification specific to Mecca, or a valid Hajj permit will be required for entry into Mecca."

The statement emphasized that the Ministry of Interior aims to regulate entries and exits to Mecca, ensure that only authorized individuals are present in the city, and guarantee the safety of the pilgrims with this application.

WARNING AGAINST FAKE ADVERTISEMENTS

The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Hajj has called on those wishing to perform the Hajj pilgrimage to be cautious against fake advertisements and fraudulent offers, reminding that transactions should only be conducted through official channels.

The ministry noted that the Hajj pilgrimage is only possible with a "Hajj visa" obtained through authorized institutions, and this process is carried out in coordination with official offices designated in 80 countries.
