While the workers' strike continues at Kartal Municipality, it was announced by the Genel İş Union Headquarters that the collective bargaining agreement has been concluded. Özer Ersan Değirmenci, the President of the Genel-İş Istanbul Anatolian Side Branch No. 3, who read the statement, said that they do not accept the collective bargaining agreement signed by the CHP Headquarters and the Genel-İş Union Headquarters. Değirmenci continued: "We prepared this agreement with the workers, we will sign it. Against the usurpation of our will, we will be here as four branches with our organized strength until the table is set again; we will go on an indefinite strike starting from the morning of November 4, Monday. After the joint statement was read, it was stated, "Dear friends, you all have very big responsibilities and duties. The Kartal workers should not be left alone. Therefore, we call on all workers and laborers, along with our families, to join us here tomorrow."
