Speaking at the Necat Nasıroğlu Conference Hall in Batman, Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin criticized the opposition, saying, "You are imposing a secularism that you invented on me. What you understand by secularism is this: locking the doors of mosques, turning mosques into barns, banning citizens from learning the Quran."

Reacting to these statements that quickly became the agenda, Demet Akalın said, "Terrible!!! It's really unbelievable!!! I am eagerly waiting for your resignation."
