Dense fog in the Bosporus during the morning hours created unique views on the city's landmarks. The silhouette of the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge almost completely disappeared, with fog clouds offering postcard-worthy scenes.
The dense fog that took effect in the Bosphorus in the morning hours created unique views over the city's landmark structures. The Bosphorus line, disappearing among the fog clouds, restricted visibility during the morning. Istanbulites, waking up to a foggy weather, are witnessing impressive scenes along the Bosphorus line. The dense fog layer concentrated around the Bosphorus almost completely covered the silhouette of the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge. While the fog clouds rising from the sea level enveloped the coastline, the resulting postcard-like image was captured by the cameras.
VISIBILITY SIGNIFICANTLY DECREASED
The fog, intensified during the calm and still hours of the weather, significantly reduced visibility on both sides of the Bosphorus. In the later hours of the day, with the sun showing itself, the dense fog is expected to dissipate and give way to clear weather.
