The body of Yong Wang (38), a Chinese businessman who was reported missing on January 24 in Istanbul, was found buried in the ground in Arnavutköy with his hands and feet bound with packing tape. Details of the murder that made headlines have emerged.
A missing person report was filed on January 24 at the Bakırköy District Police Department in Istanbul by Yong Wang's lawyer. As a result of the investigations, the GPRS signals of the vehicle used by the Chinese businessman were examined. It was determined that the vehicle was last seen in a field in the Baklalı neighborhood of Arnavutköy. During the search conducted by the teams in the field, shovels and picks were found. After a detailed investigation, Yong Wang's body was found buried in the field. An examination conducted by the Missing Persons Bureau of the Istanbul Public Security Branch revealed that Wang's hands, feet, and mouth were bound with packing tape and buried in the ground.

As part of the investigation initiated regarding the incident, it was learned that individuals who claimed Wang had defrauded them in China came to Istanbul. It was stated that the suspects learned Wang's location from a woman who knew him, killed him by hitting him with a hard object, and fled with the cold wallet he had on him.
