Director Orhan Oğuz, who has been directing Arka Sokaklar for 18 years, spoke out: I did not leave the series.

The director of the TV series "Arka Sokaklar," which is aired on Kanal D and features Zafer Ergin, Özgür Ozan, İlker İnanoğlu, Ozan Çobanoğlu, and Şevket Çoruh, Orhan Oğuz, has left the series after 18 years. The famous director, who surprised everyone with his farewell, stated that he was forced to leave the series.

"I AM SHOCKED AND UPSET"

Orhan Oğuz, who will continue to write the series with Ozan Yurdakul and Sinan Yurdakul in the new season, left the series with a sudden decision. In an interview with journalist Birsen Altuntaş, he said, "I did not leave the series. I am shocked and upset. I was called to a meeting. They told me that there would be a format change in the series after 18 years. I didn't even ask why and left the meeting."

Meanwhile, it is not known who the new director of "Arka Sokaklar" will be. It was also learned that Orhan Oğuz was offered a supervisory role at the meeting, but the master director did not warm up to this proposal.
