Three doctors who were found to be treating members of the terrorist organization PKK/KCK and working in hospitals abroad affiliated with the terrorist organization were captured in Istanbul. In a statement made by the Bitlis Governorate, it was noted that the doctors were working in hospitals abroad affiliated with the terrorist organization. STATEMENT FROM THE GOVERNORATEIn a statement from the Bitlis Governorate, it was stated, "In coordination with the Bitlis Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the Bitlis Police Department's Intelligence Branch and our Counter-Terrorism Branch, as part of the efforts to uncover the actions and activities of the PKK/KCK armed terrorist organization, an operation was carried out in Istanbul, centered in our province, targeting three individuals identified as treating members of the PKK/KCK armed terrorist organization and working as doctors in hospitals abroad affiliated with the terrorist organization. Three suspect doctors were captured and taken into custody. As a result of searches conducted at the residences of the mentioned suspects, a large number of digital materials were seized. Our operations continue resolutely within the scope of the fight against terrorism for the peace and security of our citizens," it was stated.
