It has been reported that Fenerbahçe's head coach Domenico Tedesco has requested reinforcement for the left center-back position and has provided a report recommending the transfer of Diogo Leite, who was also on Galatasaray's agenda in the past but whose transfer did not materialize.

According to a report in Fanatik, Fenerbahçe's head coach Domenico Tedesco has requested the management to acquire Diogo Leite, who plays for Union Berlin, for the left center-back position. The report states that the Italian coach knows Leite well and has submitted a report to the management prioritizing the acquisition of the 1.90-meter tall Portuguese center-back.
GALATASARAY WAS INTERESTED TOO
It was noted that Diogo Leite's name had previously been associated with Galatasaray, but the transfer could not be completed. It was also mentioned that Fenerbahçe's Sporting Director Devin Özek has started working on this transfer.
