With the early snowfall this year and the approach of the mandatory winter tire application starting on December 1st, vehicle owners rushed to tire shops. Long queues formed in front of tire shops, while tire specialists began to work overtime to meet the demands.

Stating that there is a lot of congestion due to the early arrival of winter, tire specialist Muhammet Emre Kaya said, "As of December 1st, the application of mandatory tire installation for commercial vehicles will begin. With the temperature dropping below 7 degrees, winter tires need to be installed. Winter tires are not mandatory for private vehicles, but they are necessary for safety. We already had a lot of customers, but with the snowfall, the number of vehicles has increased significantly. We are working until midnight. On average, about 50 vehicles come in daily. We are trying to assist our customers as much as we can," he said.

Customer Mehmet Çiftçi, who stated that the snowfall came suddenly, said, "I made an appointment yesterday and came today to change the tires of my vehicle. Weather conditions are mandatory. We have to install winter tires for safety. We want other drivers to install their winter tires as soon as possible," he expressed. - ELAZIĞ
