Flights at Germany's Munich Airport were briefly halted after a suspected drone was sighted. No suspicious situation was found during a search by the Federal Police, and flights resumed after a one-hour pause.

Flights at Munich Airport in Germany were briefly suspended due to a suspected unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). A short-term UAV alert was issued at the airport in the southern German city of Munich. Federal Police spokesperson Stefan Bayer told the German newspaper BILD, "Around 09:00, pilots made a suspicious observation." Bayer stated that a flying object was seen near Munich Airport, which could be a UAV. Due to security concerns, flights at Munich Airport were halted.

FLIGHTS RESUMED

Police spokesperson Bayer later said in a statement, "The search conducted by the Federal Police found no suspicious situation." Flights resumed after a one-hour break. It was reported that some flights were delayed, while others were canceled.
