Dua Lipa married her actor boyfriend Callum Turner in a simple civil ceremony in London. Lipa, who drew attention with her wedding dress choice, wore a 70s-inspired Schiaparelli ensemble. The groom opted for a navy blue suit. Lipa's hip pads were noticeable in the wedding photos.

World-famous Albanian-origin British pop star Dua Lipa has married her actor boyfriend Callum Turner in a surprise wedding in London, after a period of keeping their relationship low-key.

The 30-year-old Grammy-winning artist had a simple ceremony at the historic Marylebone Town Hall with only 8 special guests in attendance, which came as a bombshell to the tabloid world.

However, the most talked-about detail of the night was not the wedding itself, but an unmistakable "flaw" in Dua Lipa's choice of wedding dress.

A 70s Vibe and Schiaparelli Signature

Paying homage to fashion icon Bianca Jagger's legendary 1971 wedding look (Yves Saint Laurent tuxedo jacket and wide-brimmed hat combination), Dua Lipa chose a custom-designed white skirt-suit set from Schiaparelli for her wedding.

The beautiful singer completed her style with a wide-brimmed white hat by world-renowned milliner Stephen Jones, Christian Louboutin heels, a priceless Bulgari snake necklace, and held yellow wildflowers, exuding a full 70s elegance.

Groom Callum Turner accompanied his bride in a sharp navy suit. Social media exploded.

What's Up with Those Hip Pads?

As soon as high-resolution photos of the couple leaving the wedding registry office holding hands hit the internet, the fashion world and fans were divided. The detail that sharp eyes immediately noticed was the hip padding visible under Dua Lipa's jacket, which appeared to have slipped down.

Although the Schiaparelli brand is known for avant-garde designs that adapt underwear as outerwear and create a "nudity illusion," fans interpreted this look as a "tailoring and sewing error."

On platform X, formerly known as Twitter, a comment war erupted: "I liked this style on Dua Lipa a lot, very noble, but those sticking-out hip pads drive me crazy."

"There is a clear production defect in the fit and stitching of the dress. How can big-name Schiaparelli miss this? It looks beautiful, but if those pads appeared so crudely visible to me, I would have a nervous breakdown at my wedding."

In the face of harsh criticism, Dua Lipa's Turkish and international fans were quick to defend her: "Here we have a very happy couple madly in love with each other, and you're fixated on the woman's hip pads?

This isn't a fashion shoot; it's the woman's happiest day. Let Dua Lipa enjoy the moment, she looks amazing!" These comments also received widespread support on social media.

The Groom Couldn't Hold Back TearsWhile fashion critics debated the pads, inside sources revealed that groom Callum Turner was literally enchanted the moment he saw Dua Lipa in her wedding dress.

Witnessed by Dua's father, who is also her manager, Dukagjin Lipa, her mother Anesa, and siblings Rina and Gjin, it was learned that Callum's hands were trembling with excitement and he couldn't hold back his tears.

After the ceremony, the couple tried to avoid attention in London streets, got into a modest black cab, and headed for a quiet celebration dinner with family.

A close source speaking to The Sun stated that Dua's father, Dugi, is a die-hard Arsenal fan, and they made funny jokes within the family, referencing the nearby Premier League championship celebrations at the time of the wedding.

This 8-person "whirlwind wedding" in London is just the beginning for the couple. The newlyweds plan to fly to the beautiful island of Sicily in Italy this weekend for a grand Italian wedding lasting 3 days and 3 nights, attended by close friends and Hollywood stars.
