480 PERSONNEL OPERATED AT 33 POINTS

The teams of the Istanbul Provincial Police, in coordination with the Public Order Branch and the Narcotic Crimes Branch, conducted a public order and narcotic inspection with the participation of Preventive Services, Riot Police, Special Operations Branches, and the Pendik District Police Department. During the inspection in Pendik district, suspicious vehicles were stopped, and General Information Checks (GBT) were conducted on the drivers and other passengers. A total of 480 personnel operated at 33 points as part of the application.

MANY DRUGS WERE SEIZED

During the inspections carried out in the Çamçeşme neighborhood, a car driver was stopped after hitting the barriers and was deemed suspicious. A search of the vehicle revealed a large quantity of drugs inside the car and on the driver F.K. and passenger B.A.

Evaluating the inspection, Istanbul Provincial Police Chief Selami Yıldız stated, "We are in Pendik district. We started our inspections in Pendik, the first area on the Anatolian side.
