Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek reacted to the statements made by Fenerbahçe Vice President Acun Ilıcalı during a television program he attended. "WE WILL BE AGAINST IT ONCE MORE"Özbek stated, "In times when our country needs unity and solidarity the most, we have been against this mentality that tries to turn brother against brother, to create tension in society, to generate chaos, and hopes to gain personal benefits from it. We have been against it before, and we will be against it again." Recalling that they came together yesterday as the presidents of Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, and Trabzonspor at the invitation of TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu at the TFF's central office in Riva, President Özbek said, "Yesterday, we met with the presidents of Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, and Trabzonspor at the invitation of the President of the Turkish Football Federation, İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu. In this meeting, we made a decision to be more careful in our future statements in order to create a brotherhood climate among all presidents." Before even 24 hours had passed since our decision, a manager from one of the clubs present at this meeting made statements in a television program that again targeted our club with the same perceptions. Despite this insincerity, we continue to stand behind the promise we made.
