Kartal Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesi achieved 63rd place in the top 1000 in the Higher Education Institutions Exam. The school's principal, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özkan Öztürk, stated, "What appears to be success is actually backed by a strong character development in our children. There is support from the school climate. The contribution of a disciplined educational environment and the pedagogical processes that support them is significant."
With the announcement of the 2025-YKS results, Kartal AİHL has produced a large number of students who ranked in Turkey in various fields.
The school achieved 6 ranks in the top 10, 25 in the top 100, and 63 in the top 1000 according to the exam results. Of these ranks, 19 were in the verbal field, 10 in the numerical field, 19 in the equal weight field, and 15 in the language fields.
The names of the students who entered the top 10 from the school and the fields in which they ranked are as follows:
"The second in the Verbal Proficiency Tests (AYT) is Yasin Yazıcı, the third is Safa Murat Çelik, the fifth is Yusuf Arda Özkan, the seventh is Muharrem Yüksel, and the tenth is Muhammed Yasir Kılıç. The sixth in the Foreign Language Test (YDT) Arabic is Yasin Yazıcı."

Kartal Anadolu Imam Hatip High School Principal Assoc. Dr. Özkan Öztürk stated to AA correspondent that the students have completed the marathon with a beautiful result and expressed their joy.
Öztürk reported that there are 6 ranks in the top 10, 25 in the top 100, and 63 in the top 1000 in the school, saying, "I congratulate our students' families and all our students who have worked hard, especially my teachers. This was achieved primarily by God's grace, then by the prayers of their parents, the support of their teachers, and their own efforts."
Öztürk evaluated the students' success, stating, "What appears to be success actually has a very strong character building behind it. There is support from the school climate. There is the contribution of a disciplined educational environment and supportive pedagogical processes. Our school is one of those that develop multifaceted personalities. We define success not just as a specific result but as a process. Today we have seen the result, but actually, in their unseen CVs, our children, our students have much different patterns and abilities."
"THE SCHOOL HAS TWO PREPARATORY CLASSES"
Öztürk noted that the high school is aimed at developing multifaceted abilities and skills, and stated:
"Our school actually has two preparatory classes. The first is the preparatory class where our students receive language education when they arrive. The second is our 12th grade, which we can define as university preparation. We try to provide different education and contributions at each grade level. There is language education in the preparatory class. In the 9th and 10th grades, we implement multifaceted personality development programs. When they reach the 11th grade, we start the university preparation process. And our children enter the YKS process having developed their personalities, abilities, and skills. They achieve this success by entering a boutique school tutoring center for two years. What is included? Resources, supportive teachers, and lessons. Our students achieve this success at Kartal Anadolu Imam Hatip High School without going to any tutoring center. They experience a disciplined process, and we support those processes. When there is discipline, success comes as a blessing in the end."
THERE IS A R&D LABORATORY WHERE MASTER'S AND DOCTORATE LEVEL EDUCATION CAN BE RECEIVED
Öztürk explained that the high school is a science and social project school, and in the preparatory class, in addition to English education, they also provide Arabic education as a second language.
He stated that in the 9th and 10th grades, they implement an independent curriculum called "Kartal Academy" aimed at supporting children, providing education in approximately 50 workshops, including nature and engineering, culture and arts, sports, human and social sciences, and science olympiads. He mentioned that in these workshops, they teach languages such as Russian, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Hebrew according to the students' requests through what they define as "Hobby Languages."
Öztürk emphasized that the children have social skills, communication skills, verbal skills, and leadership skills, and that student clubs provide these opportunities for young people.
Regarding the opportunities provided to students by the school, Öztürk continued:
"Our school has a science center. This is an area of 1000 square meters. There are laboratories related to physics, chemistry, and biology. Our students have access to an R&D laboratory where master's and doctorate degrees can be obtained at the university level. In this science center at our school, there are also very refined spaces like our technology laboratory and innovation laboratory. For example, our students work on the software and hardware of devices such as fixed-wing, rotary-wing, electric vehicles, and underwater devices in our innovation laboratory through systematic work. In other words, Kartal Anadolu Imam Hatip High School is a pedagogical program aimed at revealing the skills hidden within a person."
Öztürk spoke about international education programs, stating, "After the preparatory class, we are a school that implements the International Baccalaureate Program in the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades, which provides the Cambridge University high school diploma certificate. We can certainly say that this program contributes to the students' characters and abilities. Today, we also have language ranks as a result of the YKS. After our students go through this program, they acquire a high level of language proficiency. At the same time, they achieve the highest educational goals at the level of reasoning outputs such as analysis and synthesis. They write a graduation thesis. They write articles related to each lesson. Besides, it is also possible to say that our school is one that carries out educational activities abroad."
SEVENTH IN VERBAL, YÜKSEL'S GOAL IS BOĞAZİÇİ UNIVERSITY ECONOMICS DEPARTMENT
Muharrem Yüksel, who ranked seventh in the verbal field in the YKS, stated that he also managed to enter the top 200 in the equal weight category, saying, "This was honestly a result I expected. I received the reward for my hard work throughout the year."
Yüksel mentioned that he woke up when his friend's phone rang while he was sleeping, saying, "At first, I thought I wouldn't be able to access a site, but when I logged in directly, I checked my result. It was just as I expected. I talked to my friends. They also had very good results. So I had my breakfast quite happily. I take pride in this. I am very happy. There is nothing else to say. I am considering studying economics at Boğaziçi University. That is my primary goal."
Yüksel described the preparation tempo for the university entrance exam as follows:

However, I didn't do any studying after school. I was someone who spent all my time studying at school, but of course, until the 12th grade. In my final year, I started extra studies. Especially, I worked non-stop for a year with a 12-hour period from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM in our library. I didn't go home; I used my home as if it were a hotel, only sleeping, waking up, and coming back. I continued to work in the library. Of course, it was very exhausting and challenging.
