Economists See Turkey's September İnflation At 0.48 Pct

Turkey's September inflation expected to increase by nearly half a percent, according to economists' average forecasts.

The inflation rate in Turkey for September is expected to increase by about 0.48 percent compared to August, according to an average forecast taken among a group of economists.



The estimates of 22 economists surveyed by Anadolu Agency as part consumer price inflation survey ranged from 0.24 percent up to one percent for September - an average of 0.48 percent.



Year-end inflation is predicted to be 9.24 percent - the average taken from estimates ranging between 9.90 percent and 8.50 percent.



Turkey's statistics authority, TurkStat, will release the official inflation figures on Friday.



Inflation increased by 0.09 percent in August compared to July, reaching 9.54 percent compared to the same month last year, according to TurkStat.
