Eleven agreements were signed between Turkey and Serbia.

During President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit to Belgrade, 11 agreements were signed between Turkey and Serbia in various fields. The agreements, which cover many sectors from economy to energy, sports, and media, aim to enhance cooperation between the two countries as well as to increase the trade volume.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic attended the signing ceremony of agreements following the Fourth Meeting of the High-Level Cooperation Council at the Palace of Serbia. During the ceremony, 11 documents were signed between the relevant ministries and institutions of the two countries.

FROM ECONOMY TO ENERGY, FROM SPORTS TO MEDIA

In this context, a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Disaster and Emergency Management, Labor, Employment, and Social Security was signed between the two countries. At the ceremony where the Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Economy of Serbia and the Ministry of Industry and Technology of Turkey, a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Energy Transition was also signed. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Sports of Serbia and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey, along with a Memorandum of Understanding in the Field of Youth and a Memorandum of Understanding in the Field of Media and Information.

BEOGRAD BECAME A SISTER CITY WITH GAZIANTEP

A decision was signed regarding amendments to the protocol on the definition of "Originating Products" and administrative cooperation methods of the Free Trade Agreement between the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Serbia.

During the ceremony where the Sister City Protocol was signed between the Municipality of Belgrade of the Republic of Serbia and the Metropolitan Municipality of Gaziantep of the Republic of Turkey, a Cooperation Protocol was signed between the State Archives of the Republic of Serbia and the Presidency State Archives of the Republic of Turkey, as well as an Academic Memorandum of Understanding between the Belgrade Historical Institute of the Republic of Serbia and the Turkish Historical Society of the Atatürk Culture, Language and History High Institution of the Republic of Turkey.
