The statement of social media influencer and former referee Elif Karaaslan, who was detained in an operation on an entertainment venue in Istanbul Bebek and subsequently arrested by the court she was brought to, has emerged.
Karaaslan, who denied that the photos and videos she shared on social media contained obscene content, defended those posts with the words: "My subscription posts on Instagram do not contain obscenity. Instagram absolutely does not accept posts like OnlyFans anyway. Content where the person is completely naked is not shared on Instagram. At most, posts in bikinis can be found here. In this context, the intent of the posts made is not obscenity."
"I DID NOT ATTEND HOUSE PARTIES"
Claiming that she does not have a nightclub culture, Elif Karaaslan said, "As I stated, the system in question is based on consent anyway. I have never used narcotic substances due to being of athlete origin. I did not attend parties like house parties. I do not have a nightclub culture."
Karaaslan explained the reason for not sharing her phone password with the words: "I do not want to give the passwords of my mobile phone because it contains information belonging to my companies and private family pictures."
"I WILL RETURN TO REFEREING"
Stating that she took her suspension from refereeing to the ECHR, Elif Karaaslan said in her statement: "I understood the charges against me. I previously worked as a referee affiliated with the TFF. But currently, I have no official connection. After being suspended from refereeing, I filed a lawsuit at the ECHR. I think I will return to refereeing as a result of my case." She concluded her statement by saying: "The Instagram account you asked about belongs to me. As far as I know, Instagram has activated the subscription system worldwide for a while. The subscription system is entirely fee-based, a system where those who wish can subscribe."
