Emine Erdoğan later examined the Deposit Packaging (DOA) machine produced with local and national resources as part of a project conducted by the Turkey Environmental Agency (TÜÇA) under the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change.
TÜÇA President Ferhat Pirinççi explained to Emine Erdoğan how bottles thrown into nature are collected safely and how the machine works.
After Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change Murat Kurum demonstrated how the system works, Emine Erdoğan also threw plastic bottles and metal beverage cans into the machine.
Following Emine Erdoğan, AK Party Women's Branch President Tuğba Işık Ercan, Istanbul Governor Davut Gül's wife Gülden Gül, Zero Waste Foundation President Samed Ağırbaş, Ümraniye Mayor İsmet Yıldırım and his wife Saime Yıldırım, along with some members of parliament and AK Party Ümraniye Women's Branch organization also experienced the deposit machine.
